Η «ΝΑΥΤΕΜΠΟΡΙΚΗ» παρουσιάζει την έκθεση πραγματογνωμοσύνης για το ναυάγιο του «Sea Diamond»

Στο συμπέρασμα ότι με βάση τον αριθμό και την έκταση των ρηγμάτων, μετά την πρόσκρουση το κρουαζιερόπλοιο «Sea Diamond» δεν είχε πιθανότητες επιβίωσης, καταλήγουν οι πραγματογνώμονες που συνέταξαν την έκθεση για το ναυάγιο του πλοίου. Την έκθεση των πραγματογνωμόνων διέταξε το λιμεναρχείο Θήρας σε συνεργασία με την εισαγγελία Νάξου.

Εκτός των άλλων αναφέρεται:

«Η μη σωστή αποτύπωση των αβαθών συνέβαλε στην πρόσκρουση του πλοίου στα αβαθή, αν ο πλοίαρχος λίγο πριν το συμβάν της πρόσκρουσης συμβουλεύτηκε το χάρτη. Όλες τις άλλες προσεγγίσεις με διαφορετικές κατευθύνσεις δεν τις επηρεάζει και για το λόγο αυτό έχουμε χιλιάδες κινήσεις ετησίως μικρών και εξαιρετικά μεγάλων πλοίων στον Όρμο των Φηρών χωρίς να έχει σημειωθεί κανένα ατύχημα στα εν λόγω αβαθή που υπάρχουν στον όρμο των Φηρών και βορείως τα Άκρας Αλωνικής όπου προσέκρουσε το επιβατηγό - κρουαζιερόπλοιο «Sea Diamond».

Μετά την ανέλκυση, το περιβάλλον θα έχει δυνατότητα επιβίωσης...
